Pimblett secured a deal with the Ultimate Fighting Championship following two additional victories inside the group. Pimblett previously turned down two UFC contracts in favour of higher financial incentives from Cage Warriors.
Molly McCann, a fellow mixed martial artist from Liverpudlian, is close friends with Pimblett. Pimblett identifies as a socialist and a supporter of the oppositional Labour Party.

Paddy Pimblett was raised in Huyton, Merseyside, where he was born on January 3rd, 1995. He went to Cardinal Heenan Catholic High School and St. Margaret Mary’s Primary School.
He began training in mixed martial arts at the age of 14, joining Next Generation MMA, after being inspired by the match between Diego Sanchez and Clay Guida at The Ultimate Fighter 9 Finale. Shortly after, he made the decision to compete in the sport professionally.
